Watch: Happy Endings
Why: Because Casey Wilson as Penny and Adam Pally as Max (above) are killing it on this show. Watching Happy Endings is like hanging out with all of your best friends at their funniest and most adventurous. It makes you feel like that time you all went to brunch and randomly decided to get champagne drunk on a Sunday (and it was awesome).
Why: Because if you are a woman or a gay man, all of your friends are going to be talking about this book, and who likes feeling left out at brunch? If you are a straight man, your girlfriend will love you for reading and following the Advice for Men chapter. Also, there is a very funny scene in which chubby child Mindy Kaling reluctantly falls/dives off a high diving board at summer camp, thus learning that not all adults are trustworthy.

Why: Because these songs rock.
